Research

First of all, we needed to collect and structure the date in order to understand where we go from here and what to do.

It was decided to collect information from the following sources:

  1. Interviews with stakeholders;

  2. Interviews with current users;

  3. Definition and analysis of similar products.

Research has helped us understand the problems that the user faces when working with the current version of the product:

  1. Current tools do not allow analyzing the benefits of certain laws and reforms;

  2. Different organs of the authorities create similar reforms that overlap and expend a large number of funds;

  3. Most often, when creating laws, stakeholder problems are not taken into account and there are no clear.

Analysis

The next step we made a few brainstorms, where we identified possible solutions:

  1. Add to the system indicators by which it will be possible to determine the usefulness of the law or reform;

  2. Add responsible persons to the system;

  3. Develop tools for analyzing different versions of the law to determine the best versions;

  4. Mobile version development (more than 15% I use mobile version).

After coordinating the prototypes, we started to create the design and release tools.

After the release, we used the following tools to determine the vector of development and the elimination of current problems:

  1. Usability Testing, etc;

  2. Adding pain points to the user's map for further work with these problems;

  3. Funnel analysis;

  4. Tree tests;

  5. Card sorting;

  6. Creating a design system.

Prototyping

After negotiating the wireframes, we went directly to prototyping.

The prototypes were tested on the target group of users, as well as on the stakeholders.

The next step is to analyze the test results and make corrections.

Desktop design

The design of the application is made in a minimalist style.

The PRO tool grid is made of 3 main parts: the navigation, the content part,

and the additional menu. This solution allowed to maximally simplify the navigation for the resource.

Other states

At the moment, the product is used not only by the internal office team but also by the majority of regulatory bodies.

With the help of this tool, it was possible to cut the time for harmonization of laws almost doubled, add stakeholders and analyze the usefulness of law, not only from a subjective point of view but from the point of view of clearly defined KPI’s.
